Building with straw bales: natural technology and insulation material

Le Creste Cultural Centre has been shortlisted among the finalists of The Plan Award 2015, in the category “Innovative Architecture”. It represents one of the first buildings in Italy that makes use of the straw-bales technology, in which architectural and technological features are closely integrated to improve the energy performance of the building and contain its environmental impact.
The presentation of the finalist projects to the International Jury and the Awards Ceremony will take place during the International Architecture Forum Perspective 2015, to be held on 19-20 May in Milan.
